myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) can indeed cause
bone pain. This is often due to the abnormal increase in the number of cells within the
bone marrow, leading to an overcrowded environment. When the marrow is overburdened with cancerous cells, it can result in discomfort and pain in the bones. Additionally, the cells may sometimes accumulate near the nerves of the spinal cord or within the joints, which can also contribute to the pain.
