Step 1: Use a USB CableConnect your
Samsung Galaxy S7 to your
computer using a
USB cable. Your computer should automatically recognize your phone as a removable device.
Once connected, a pop-up window will appear on your
computer screen. Click on the "
Open folder to view files" option.
This will open a
file explorer window on your
computer displaying the contents of your phone's
internal storage.
Locate the
DCIM folder, which is where the photos are stored on your
phone. Open the
DCIM folder and select the photos you want to transfer to your
computer.
Once you have selected the photos, click on the "
Copy to" option in the
file explorer menu bar.
Choose the destination folder on your
computer where you want to save the photos and click on the "
Copy" button.
The photos will be transferred to your
computer and saved in the selected destination folder.
Step 2: Use a Cloud ServiceIf you don't want to use a
USB cable, you can also use a
cloud service to transfer photos from your
Samsung Galaxy S7 to your
computer.
There are many different cloud services available, such as
Google Drive,
Microsoft OneDrive, and
Dropbox.
Create an account with a
cloud service and install the corresponding
app on your
phone.
Open the
cloud service app on your
phone and sign in to your account.
Select the photos you want to transfer to your
computer and tap on the "
Share" button.
In the sharing options, select the
cloud service you want to use.
The photos will be uploaded to the
cloud service.
Open the
cloud service website or app on your
computer and sign in to your account.
The photos you uploaded from your
phone will be available in your
cloud storage.
You can download the photos to your
computer by clicking on the "
Download" button.
