Hey there, trainers! Professor Oak here, ready to share some wisdom on the wonderful world of Pokemon! You're looking to transfer your beloved Pokemon from the nostalgic
SoulSilver to the exciting region of
White 2, a journey many trainers before you have taken! Let me guide you through this process.
Important Note: You'll need two Nintendo DS systems for this – one for
SoulSilver and one for
White 2. Additionally, both games should be genuine Nintendo cartridges.
**Here's the breakdown of transferring your Pokemon:**
1. **Beat the Elite Four and Champion in Pokemon White 2:** You won't unlock the transfer function until you've conquered the Unova region's toughest challenge.
2. Head to the Transfer Lab on Route 15: After becoming the Champion, a new location called the Transfer Lab will appear on Route 15 in
White 2. This is your portal between the two games!
3. Grab Two DS Systems and Your Games: As I mentioned, you'll need both your
SoulSilver and
White 2 games, each in a separate Nintendo DS system. Make sure both systems are charged or have fresh batteries.
4. **Connect Through the Nintendo DS Wireless Communication:** This is the technical part! Turn on both DS systems and start up your Pokemon games. In
White 2, enter the Transfer Lab. The game will prompt you to establish a connection using the DS's wireless communication. Follow the on-screen instructions carefully.
5. Initiate the Transfer from SoulSilver: Once the two games are linked, you'll be able to select up to six Pokemon from your
SoulSilver game to transfer. Choose wisely, as this is a one-way trip for your Pokemon!
6. Welcome to Unova!: After confirming your selection, the transfer will begin. Once completed, your chosen Pokemon will be waiting for you in
White 2. You can then access them from a PC within the game.
Additional Information:* Remember, you can only transfer Pokemon from
Generation IV games (Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, SoulSilver) to
Generation V games (Black, White, Black 2, White 2).
* You cannot transfer items or your Trainer data.
* Any transferred Pokemon will become level 1.
* Make sure you have enough room in your party or PC boxes in
White 2 to receive the transferred Pokemon.
Transferring Pokemon between generations is an exciting way to continue your journey with your team. Best of luck, trainers, and may your adventures in Unova be filled with joy and victory!
