Here's how I do it: I start with 1 cup of regular old-fashioned
oats or 1 cup of
steel-
cut oats (no soaking needed!). Next, I add 1 3/4 cups of liquid for the regular
oats or 2 1/2 cups of liquid for
steel-
cut oats (my favorite ratio is equal parts water and milk). Finally, I add a big pinch of salt.
