The third stage, Concrete Operational, occurs from around age 7 to 12. Here, children begin to think logically about concrete events and solve problems that are directly observable. They can classify objects, understand conservation, and manipulate information based on logical operations.

The final stage is Formal Operational, which begins in adolescence and continues into adulthood. At this stage, individuals are capable of abstract thinking and hypothetical reasoning. They can consider possibilities beyond the immediate context and engage in complex problem-solving.

Piaget's theory has been foundational in the field of psychology, offering a comprehensive view of how children's minds develop. It's important to note, however, that this theory has been subject to critique and refinement over the years, with some researchers suggesting that the stages are not as distinct or sequential as Piaget proposed.
