Yes, it is possible to have had a heart attack and not be aware of it. A
heart attack does

have the classic symptoms that are commonly portrayed in media, such as severe pain in the chest, shortness of breath, and cold sweats. Some individuals may experience mild or atypical symptoms, or even no symptoms at all. This type of event is known as a
silent heart attack, or medically termed as silent ischemia, which is a condition where there is a lack of oxygen to the
heart muscle. Silent heart attacks can be detected later through tests such as electrocardiograms (ECGs) that reveal changes in the heart's rhythm or structure, or through the detection of heart damage markers in the blood.
