Left ventricular hypertrophy with repolarization abnormality refers to a condition where the heart's main pumping chamber, the
left ventricle, undergoes
enlargement and
thickening (
hypertrophy). This
hypertrophy can occur as a response to various factors that cause the
left ventricle to work harder, such as
high blood pressure or other heart conditions. Additionally,
repolarization abnormality refers to irregularities in the electrical activity of the heart following a heartbeat, which can be seen on an electrocardiogram (ECG) and may be associated with an increased risk of certain heart rhythm problems.
